In 1991 it was expanded to a 4-star 130 room Spa Resort known as Enchanted Garden Resort and Spa. At its peak, marketed under the Enchanted Gardens brand, the entity attracted an average of 400 visitors to its gardens on cruise days. The Enchanted Garden Resort and Spa was closed in 2000.

After its closure in 2000, the gardens continued to have requests for visits from potential local and international visitors eager for a visit to explore the Gardens’ world famous natural beauty.
